In this post I will be explaining the simplest and quickest way to make 360 Degree Panoramas (or less if you like) and upload them on Facebook so Facebook detects them as a 360. The first thought was that Facebook 360 photo is not working but turns out it need few steps. there is alot of post processing required. Sidenote: if you’re working with 360 video and trying to upload to YouTube, read this help page on uploading 360-degree videos. One day I decided to make a 360 degree panorama with my DJI Phantom 4 Pro, so took it out and selected the Pano mode and it took 32 images and came back took out the SD Card from DJI so I could upload them on Facebook – guess what !!!. Using Facebook’s own templates can be much simpler than the method described above. Add your images on top, keep the document the same size, and save as JPG, making sure to retain metadata.įacebook’s published some extensive documentation for editing 360 photos and injecting metadata, but I think my solutions’s simpler. I’ve uploaded a basic template for full 360 photospheres. Copy the image you’re trying to get to work as a panorama into a new layer in this document. If you have a differently sized image, you can try working from an image template instead. If you’re having trouble getting iOS panoramas to upload as photospheres to Facebook, I’ve found Facebook often requires the panorama to be the full width, meaning you can’t stop early. If you’re looking for a simple app for uploading and viewing photospheres using a headset like Google Cardboard, I recommend. Street View has supported uploading photospheres for a few years now. If you’re on iOS, you can download Google’s Street View app, which has a 360 capture mode. Congrats! You’ve now manually created a 360 photo.Īs a sidenote, if you’re interested in capturing 360 photos in the real world, new versions of the Android camera app have the feature built in.If everything worked, your post dialog will say “Say something about this 360 photo…” and a globe icon will appear on the thumbnail. You can now save the photo and upload it to Facebook. The new metadata with the equirectangular tag should now be added.Navigate to where you saved the XMP file in step 1 and click “Open.” In the dialog that opens, choose “Keep original metadata, but append matching properties from template”. Go to File > File Info and select the Raw Data tab.6000 x 3000 pixel images work well (this is what AW produces) Open the photo you wish to make into a panorama in Photoshop.Download the XMP template with required projection meta tag and unzip it.How to add missing equirectangular photosphere metadata in Photoshop (CC 2015/2017/2018) By extracting the raw metadata from properly formatted panoramas, I was able to create an XMP template I can now import in Photoshop to make Facebook read any photo as a 360 photosphere. There are some software tools to do this, but I found a simpler method. I can view that this is missing from the raw metadata in Photoshop, but Photoshop doesn’t let you directly edit the raw meta data. Some googling revealed that Facebook requires images to have this meta tag to work: equirectangular Unfortunately I quickly discovered Facebook wasn’t automatically recognizing the screenshots from AW. I’ve been using that to upload 360 panoramic screenshots from ActiveWorlds, so I was looking forward to doing the same on Facebook. Flickr introduced a similar feature last December when it launched Flickr VR. Facebook recently rolled out the ability for anyone to upload a 360 panorama or photosphere that can be clicked through on desktop, viewed with certain VR headsets, or viewed by moving your device around on mobile. The game’s spawn mechanic divides mobs into 4 categories: friendly, hostile, ambient (the bat) or water (squid). This is also the amount of blocks away where the player can start hearing mobs’ movements or groans. The average mob’s sight range for players is 16 blocks in circumference, but some of them have farther ranges. Neutral mobs will not be hostile until an entity, usually a player, harms them or meets a certain criteria. Passive mobs flee if the player hurts them while hostile mobs will pursue and attack the player until it is out of their sight range. Mobs will move towards a desired object and follow it while making considerations for the previously said mechanics. Mobs will not go towards hazards that can possibly kill them like lava, or jump from high locations that can cause them fall damage. The mob AI is also given a complex set of pathfinding to overcome obstacles and hazards if needed. Typically, mob entities will wander around if a player is within range and some will go towards a player once they detect players within their “sight” range. Some items drop from simple fall damage while some mobs need to be killed first to drop a specific item.Īll mobs are given a specific artificial intelligence that will allow them to complete certain tasks and commands, emulating a plethora of behavior and combat mechanics. Once killed, they disappear into a puff of dust, leaving items and experience points as resources. Mobs are able to ride minecarts, other mobs or even climb ladders. As such, mobs can be harmed by falling, burning, weapon attacks, drowning etc.) Some mobs have resistances to some hazards, like all mobs living in the never being immune from fire and the chicken being immune from fall damage. Mobs are mostly affected by environmental effects that will affect the player, such as gravity, Fire and water. As such, they are risky and large scale opponents that are typically immune to status effects and can detect invisible mobs. They are made for high risk battles with high level rewards. The strongest hostile entities in the game, boss mobs are extremely destructive and durable, usually meant to be fought as end game opponents. They are typically neutral, can be crafted and have specific functions to fulfill. Utility mobs are entities that are meant to serve and protect the player against hostile mobs. There is no upper limit on how many of these entities can be tamed. To tame each, you would need to give a specific taming item to a specific tamable mob and it gives you a chance for you to take that entity as a pet. Each tamable mob, with the exception of the wolf that is neutral, is a passive mob and will not attack. Tamable mobs are entities that can be tamed as pets in Minecraft. Hostile mobs consist of all the monsters in Minecraft and typically spawn once darkness comes. Hostile mobs are aggressive entities in Minecraft that will attack the player on sight or once they detect the player on their attack range. Unless needed, it is best to leave neutral mobs alone as they are either very strong for beginners or can attack you in swarms. Though they will not attack the player on sight, they will, however, fight back when attacked. They are typically wild animals/insects or some spawned monster creatures. Neutral mobs are non-aggro but defensive entities in Minecraft. As the name suggests, these mobs will never attack regardless if they are shown aggression or not. They include a majority of the animal creatures in Minecraft, together with the villager. Passive mobs consist of non-aggro, non-attacking entities in Minecraft. Not counting mobs that are unused and removed from the game’s data, there are six classifications of mobs and up to 49 different mobs in both the PC and the Pocket Edition of the game. They typically are given special AI and pathfinding in order to uniquely interact with the players. Mobs, short for “mobile”, are generally anything living in the Minecraft world. This is going to be a long one, so let’s get started! Today, we’ll help you not only identify these creatures but also understand the mechanics behind them – how they spawn, how they behave and what makes each one different. They make the game exciting, and it is essential for any player to be able to identify each one. Without mobs, Minecraft will be a barren world of just dirt, water and trees. The world of Minecraft is brought to life by what everyone knows as mobs. Malaak refutes this, however, in her counterclaim, stating that she and the children were “fully supported financially by the Plaintiff throughout the marriage. Rock claims Malaak is capable of supporting herself and contributing to the support of their two children. Rock and Malaak have also clashed over spousal support. While the adoption by Malaak is not yet finalized, it is actively in process under the rigorous guidelines and safeguards of international adoption policy. The child is in the country lawfully with the written consent of her birth parents, and while here, has been cherished and adored by the entire Rock family.” She is saddened by recent tabloid media reports which are full of erroneous speculation and inaccuracies that are hurtful to three innocent young girls. Protecting the privacy of her family remains of utmost importance to Malaak. “Although Chris Rock is a celebrity, Malaak and the children are not. Malaak, however, wants Rock to provide support for this third child who Malaak said in her statement “has resided with the parties since before her first birthday.”Īn excerpt from Malaak’s statement released by her lawyer, David Aronson of Aronson, Mayefsky & Sloan, Compton-Rock, reads as follows: Rock did not acknowledge this child in his original divorce filing, which mentioned only he and Malaak’s two biological children. The estranged pair are at loggerheads over alimony, child support and whether or not Rock is obliged to provide financial care for a child who, as Malaak told PEOPLE in a statement, was raised as the couples own and “cherished and adored.” Malaak Compton-Rock Speaks Out Chris Rock and wife Malaak Compton-Rock announced their divorce nearly a year ago but things are far from settled between the two. |
